The Utica Children’s Museum will be open the following hours for the holidays:

Special Programs & Activities

Tuesday 10:00 – 12:00 Hanukkah Crafts and Storytime – Join PJ Library of the Mohawk Valley in decorating crafts for Hanukkah and reading stories! All ages. Included with admission.

 

Tuesday 1:00 Story & Craft:  “The Icebox Snowball” by Connie Watkins – local children’s author Connie Watkins visits us and shares a heartwarming tale of a winter’s day between grandmother and grandchild. Children will enjoy painting a winter scene of their own after the reading.

 

Wednesday 12/28 11:00 – 2:00 Family Fun and Fitness at the Museum! – North Country Eat Smart New York will be visiting us with games, prizes and fresh food samples! The first 200 SNAP eligible visitors during this time will receive FREE admission. Open to everyone. Included with admission. Also – Helen Madden of the Childhood Lead Primary Prevention Program, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oneida County will be joining us to share their Lead Prevention interactive exhibit featuring Dusty and share tips on how to keep you and your family safe. All ages Included with admission.


Thursday 12/29 11:00 Arts Program:Christmas Trees! Make your own Christmas tree out of popsicle sticks, presented by volunteer UCM member Patricia Zumbo and Leah Zumbo. All ages. Included with admission.
