The Utica Children’s Museum offers several sponsorship options to meet the needs of our partners in the community. Since 1963, the Museum has operated to serve the children and families of the Mohawk Valley (and beyond) with learning experiences in the sciences, arts and culture, music, technology, history and more.
Your sponsorship of the Utica Children’s Museum allows us to continue our important services in the community and helps you market your message and or service to the demographic we serve.
We are committed to creating an environment that supports every child’s natural curiosity to learn through hands-on, play-based exploration – we invite you to join us in achieving these goals through your sponsorship that gives back to the community you serve.
We have a variety of sponsorship options available:
Free Admission Sponsorships:
Sponsor a free day or free evening at the Utica Children’s Museum. Help hundreds of children and adults enjoy a visit to the Museum and learn about your business or organization!
Museums for All Sponsorships:
The Utica Children’s Museum is a participating member of Museums for All, a joint initiative of the Association of Children’s Museums and the Institute of Museum and Library Services to offer reduced admission fees to families of lower income levels to allow access to quality museum experiences regardless of their ability to pay.
Participating museums can offer admissions fees from free to $3.00 per person presenting and EBT card. The Utica Children’s Museum participates in this program with a reduced admission of $1.00 per person presenting an EBT card. On the local level, the Utica Children’s Museum has chosen to expand this to include families on all types of public assistance type programs, including WIC, SNAP, Section 8, Head Start, Free/Reduced Lunch, etc.
This is an unfunded program that we choose to participate in for the benefit of the children we serve. Sponsorship of our Museum’s for All program ensures that we will be able to continue offering this benefit to the community.
The Utica Children’s Museum holds several annual events such as our Spring Egg Hunt, Boo Bash, and Elf Walk at holiday time. We are looking to host adult-only events, fundraisers, Members Only hours – when the Museum is open exclusively to Members, and school break programs and events. These events give sponsors visibility, and a chance to meet and greet with our visitors and guests in our play-based environment.
