Utica Children’s Museum was Selected as the 2024 Save Of The Day Foundation Partner

On January 12, 2024, at the Save of the Day Foundation Utica Comets Game,
The Utica Children’s Museum was presented with a $50,000 check to support the
construction of the new museum.

The partnership and support between Save of the Day Foundation, The Utica Comets,
and the Utica Children’s Museum is helping make Utica a great city for children and
families. The organizations provide a range of services that support children’s growth
and development. From creating sports environments to offering opportunities for
playful learning, these resources help children thrive and reach their full potential.
The Save of the Day Foundation has pledged $50,000 yearly for the next ten years
($500,000 total) towards the Capital Campaign to support the all-new Utica Children’s
Museum. This donation contributes to the overall project total of $14 million.

The Save of the Day Foundation is proud to be a part of the future of the Utica
Children’s Museum. We believe in the museum's mission and look forward to our
contributions to improving the museum for years to come. Rob Esche, founder of the
Save Of The Day Foundation

We are thrilled to receive such generous support from The Save of the Day
Foundation, said Meghan Fraser McGrogan, Utica Children’s Museum Board President.
Our two organizations align in mission and purpose – bringing opportunity and
inspiration to children to enhance their overall wellness, education, ability to have great
places to play, their social-emotional health, and connection with their community.
Together, we are helping them Love Where They Live!

The Utica Children’s Museum is set to open this year in the Parkway District of Utica.
